Hope everyone had a nice holiday. I know I ate a ridiculous amount of ham. I put several extra pictures up for my inlaws that were out of town this year. We didn't take a family photo this year, aah! Just to warn you there is a ton of pics!

I wore Lippmann Ruby Slippers for Christmas. I got this holographic topcoat as a present so of course I slapped on 2 coats right away and later that evening I had this crazy tipwear. Note to self: don't ever wear 3 coats of Ruby Slippers, 2 SV, 1 normal clear coat and top it off with 2 coats of a holo topcoat!


I was bending my nails doing everyday stuff so here is my current mani. 3 coats of Essie Pink Diamond (another Xmas gift!).

So, after 2 weeks of being super sick (I think I spent a whole week in bed, ugh) I am just starting to feel pretty normal. My brother in law Eric and his wife Olivia are going to be out of town for xmas this year so we had an early get together for dinner and presents.

My mother in law gave me a HK purse holder. You put this on the edge of the table and underneath is a hook where you can hang your purse!


I didn't take any nail pictures, but I'm wearing Ruby Slippers and Emerald Sparkle alternating each finger.

Here I am slightly cross-eyed and looking pretty crazy faced. I'm drinking green tea!


We went to a local steakhouse for dinner, here is my salad with tomato vinaigrette.


I had a 10 oz. filet mignon with a side of zucchini and squash.


Olivia had lamb!

I got a couple new lipglosses, I just put on Giza by NARS here. It's a peachy nude very pigmented, love it! Thanks Eric and Olivia.

Do you guys remember the nail whitening gel I got a few weeks ago? I tried that for 12 days (the instructions say 14 but man) but I couldn't stand to finish it. I will show you the results and why I hated it so much next post!

Hi, I've been really sick since Sunday been in bed most of the time. I also took my polish off that I wore for a week (one of Nixxy's!) and I'll not be wearing any color until Christmas. I bought a few things when Sallys had free shipping on any order (and I had to use my 20% coupon!), one of the items was a whitening clear polish. I am curious if it will work on my nearly orange nails so we shall see! Sorry about the absence, I'm actually glad I got sick now and not during Christmas lol.

I wore Devilish for an entire week and not 1 chip, love this color! The gold didn't really show up much but my nails looked like sparkling garnets!


Nixxy gave me a great tip about the white plastic, just take it off!

I am wearing only 2 coats with 2 coats of SV. I like this color so much! And it sparkles! China Glaze has kept me so happy with the new glitters lol. This one has me peeking at my nails now and then.

Hi everyone! Hope you had a nice weekend, mine was spent eating mostly. I have a lot of pictures today, starting off with my current mani:

After much debating, I finally chose Onyx Shadows. This is 2 coats with 1 coat of Seche Vite. I don't know if you can see it, but there is depth to this color. I want to touch my nails because it looks textured. I thought I would have to be careful about brushstrokes but this isn't just another metallic gunmetal grey! I took so many pictures lol. This is indoors.

The shape of this plastic is interesting. Good idea, but it just doesn't work for painting your own nails. Gosh I would totally spill this on my lap if I tried to hold it with the bottle open like this I think.




So, remember Black Magic from my last post? I shook the poo out of the bottle and slapped on a third coat and bam! The orange glitter was everywhere. Click to enlarge (any picture in fact). So that other mani I posted was user error lol.


Thanksgiving dinner at my in laws. The table looked so awesome!


Dinner was amazing too, forgot to take a picture. I was wearing my hair up using a giraffe chopstick and put on this beaded ring that decorated the apple cider bottle.



My mother in law whipped these out and that label is funny. What do you give your non-special guests?!



5 pies! The 3 on the left are homemade pumpkin, coconut cream and pecan. The other two are from Marie Callendars double cream blueberry and german chocolate pie. Aaaaaah!
