Essie Tomboy No More

I love reds, and this one in particular reminds me of my old-time favorite Malaga Wine by OPI. It has a jelly finish and is slightly dark and vampy.

In this indoor lamp shot you can see the jellyness pretty well, and this is what it looks like most of the time.

Looks so different outside, turned bright red! All in all, I like this one. This is 3 coats and definitely still visible NL, I wanted to do more but it was this or bubbles and I gladly took the former.

I'm sorry I haven't given credit to those that gave me one so here goes:

The ever so nice Elaine from Lacquer Laine gave me my first one! Her blog is awesome so you should definitely check it out.

Tuli from Tuli's Nail Polish & Stuff was next, I love her blog it is so interesting it has polish I have never seen before from Israel.

Most recently one from Millie at Glittermillie's Nails and Sparkle her nails are amazing!

I don't like the idea of picking certain blogs out of all that I read so I will just leave it at that. Thanks Elaine, Tuli and Millie (^O^)

Hi! I was going to post that with my other apron picture but I dunno it just seemed weird. Yeah Alex took a million funny pose shots while I was wearing that thing lol.

  4. I remember someone else swatched this when I first started posting this summer, and I can't remember who it was - I love it as much if not more on you than I did on them. That's really, seriously GORGEOUS!

  5. I love a beautiful red polish and this one is no exception. Stunning! But I don't think many people would wear this as well as you do Kae! Out of interest, do you wear a base and top coat? If so, what's your favourite? Oh, a new profile pic - I like! :)

  8. Nicole:
    Thank you! :)

    Danielle:
Aww thank you. I wear Seche Ridge filling base coat, and I also have the Poshe base coat. I like the ridge filler better, I have some hefty vertical ridges to cover up!

As for topcoats, I must have quick dry ones so I have Seche Vite, OPI Rapid dry, Orly Sec'n Dry, and SH Insta-Dri anti chip topcoat. SV is my HG of quick dry top coats! If I didn't have that I would use the Orly Sec 'n Dry, it is pretty awesome as well. The OPI I don't like it all, and the SH... well it does make it dry to te touch after 5 mins or whatever but it feels tacky for hours! And it leaves huge dents even the next day if I hit it, so that one is the worst for me.

    thank you :) ♥

    Helen:
Thanks! I would love to have a really nice camera someday for some awesome nail pics!

  18. Hi Valerie,
    Thank you :)

    Wan,
Thank you, me too I looove jellies!

    Chocaddict,
    Thank you! :)

    Funkiimonkee,
The jelly finish makes it yummy! I'm not sure how I keep any length on my nails. I have paper thin super dry brittle nails. I used to lose corners on my square nails what seemed like every week, but now that I keep them painted with a base/top coat it's thick enough to save me (most of the time). Thank you :)

    Alexlyndra,
    Totally! I love it :D
